SMB Foundation Hosts Third Annual Ceremony in Rohini, Delhi

New Delhi, Rohini — The SMB Foundation celebrated its third annual ceremony today with great enthusiasm and joy, bringing together supporters, well-wishers, and community members for a heartfelt event. The Foundation, a voluntary organization, is dedicated to providing education to children from impoverished backgrounds, including those engaged in rag-picking. Its mission is to empower underprivileged children through quality education, enabling them to become self-reliant and earn a respectable place in society.

The program commenced with stirring patriotic songs performed by children, whose spirited singing filled the atmosphere with a sense of national pride. The performances moved the audience deeply, evoking emotions of unity and love for the country. The celebration saw the presence of distinguished guests, including SMB Foundation Chairman Rishi Pal Rana, CEO Lokesh Kumar, and several other eminent personalities who have been associated with the cause of education and social welfare.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of academically meritorious students. The chief guests took the stage to present awards to these students, commending their dedication and hard work despite challenging life circumstances. In addition to accolades, the Foundation distributed books, stationery, and other essential educational supplies to children as a means of encouragement and support.

In his address, Chairman Rishi Pal Rana underscored the transformative power of education, stating, “Quality education is the only way to break the vicious cycle of poverty. When we provide education to children, we are not just giving them knowledge, but also the key to a better future.” His words resonated with the audience, reinforcing the importance of sustained efforts toward educational empowerment.

CEO Lokesh Kumar also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the need to integrate marginalized children into mainstream society. He remarked that lasting social change can only be achieved when the most disadvantaged sections of the community are given equal access to opportunities.

The program concluded with vibrant cultural performances by the children, showcasing dance, music, and dramatic presentations that highlighted both their talent and the Foundation’s role in nurturing their potential. The event ended on a unifying note with the collective singing of the national anthem, leaving the audience inspired and hopeful.

Throughout the ceremony, there was a shared sentiment of appreciation for the Foundation’s work. Attendees praised SMB Foundation’s relentless efforts to uplift children from disadvantaged backgrounds and provide them with not just education, but dignity and hope. The event served as a reminder that community-driven initiatives, fueled by compassion and commitment, can bring about meaningful change.

As SMB Foundation marks its third anniversary, it continues to reaffirm its pledge to expand educational opportunities for underprivileged children and create an inclusive environment where every child has the chance to dream, learn, and thrive.
