Big Impact Seen on Day One… ‘No PUC, No Fuel’ Drive Issues Over 61,000 Certificates in 24 Hours

National Desk: Amid rising air pollution levels in Delhi, the newly launched ‘No PUC, No Fuel’ campaign has shown a clear impact from its very first day. Within the first 24 hours of the drive, more than 61,000 Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCC) were issued across the national capital, indicating increased public awareness and compliance with pollution control norms.

The campaign, implemented by the Delhi government and the Transport Department, aims to curb the movement of vehicles operating without a valid pollution certificate. Under this rule, vehicles without a PUC are denied petrol or diesel at fuel stations, forcing vehicle owners to immediately obtain a valid certificate.

Authorities believe this initiative will play a significant role in controlling vehicular emissions and improving Delhi’s air quality. The news is being updated.
