India’s Infrastructure Leaders Honoured at 12th EPC World Awards

At the 12th EPC World Awards, leading industry figures and organizations were recognized for their exceptional contributions to India’s rapidly evolving infrastructure sector.

Jayant Basu, Managing Director of SemIndia Projects Limited, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant contribution to the ports and maritime infrastructure construction industry. Rajesh Kumar Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited, was honoured for his outstanding leadership in public sector engineering and infrastructure development.

G. Vinod, Executive Vice Chairman and Head – Operations at Larsen & Toubro, was named Infra Person of the Year for his exemplary leadership in executing high-speed rail and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Among companies, NTPC Green Energy Limited was recognized for its pioneering role in green hydrogen mobility and clean transportation. Welspun Enterprises Limited was acknowledged as an outstanding company in specialized construction, while Larsen & Toubro Limited received accolades for excellence in airport project delivery.

In the roads and highways segment, SemIndia Projects Limited was awarded for its performance in very large road and highway construction projects. AKC Infrastructure Limited earned recognition for its contribution to large-scale road projects, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) was honoured for excellence in urban infrastructure development.

BTL EPC Limited was recognized for its contribution to mechanized coal handling in the mining sector. Navi Mumbai International Airport received recognition as an outstanding airport project. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) was honoured for its achievements in oil and gas infrastructure, while AECOM India was named Infra Consultant of the Year.

Zydex Industries was also recognized as an outstanding company for innovative construction chemicals in road infrastructure, underlining the growing importance of material innovation in enhancing durability and sustainability in infrastructure projects.
