Actor Tusshar Kapoor Joins UPKL Team “Gazab Ghaziabad”; Season 2 Matches to Begin in Noida from December 24
Ghaziabad: The city’s team “Gazab Ghaziabad” is all set to showcase its strength in Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) Season 2, with Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor officially joining the team as a co-owner. Tusshar expressed great enthusiasm about his new role and said he is confident that Gazab Ghaziabad will deliver an outstanding performance and aim for the championship title this season.
UPKL Founder and Owner Sambhav Jain congratulated the team on the association with a Bollywood celebrity and welcomed Tusshar Kapoor to the league.
Team owners Ashish Sharma and Advocate Kartikeya Sharma informed that professional kabaddi player Anil Kumar will lead the side as captain, while Raunak Singh has been appointed vice-captain. Under their leadership, the players are undergoing rigorous daily training sessions.
A major strength of the team is the presence of Arjuna Awardee and veteran kabaddi star Sandeep Narwal, popularly known as “The Beast”, who is mentoring the squad. His vast experience is helping players learn advanced techniques and strategies. The team is being coached by Head Coach Kiranpal Singh, with Gulbir Singh serving as the Assistant Coach.
Other key players in the Gazab Ghaziabad squad include Harsh Dhaka, Uday Dabas, Abhishek Pandey, Aman Pawar, Arpit Chauhal, Aman Rana, Shaurya Singh, Vipul Chaudhary, Hariom, Vishal Kumar, and Gopal Sharma.
Matches of UPKL Season 2 will begin from December 24, 2025, with all fixtures scheduled to be played in Noida.
