Ajay Devgn Unveils Riteish Deshmukh’s Intense Look in Raid 2
Riteish Deshmukh has formally onboarded the team of Raid 2, with Ajay Devgn as the co-star. In the long-awaited sequel, Riteish will be witnessed playing the role of a politician. On Tuesday, Ajay Devgn Instagrammed Riteish’s first-look poster. The snapshot depicts him in the middle of a crowd standing with a severe face, in a kurta and jacket raising his hand.
Sharing the poster, Ajay captioned it, “Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai!????” Riteish also posted the same poster on his Instagram, adding to the excitement among fans.
The announcement created buzz, with fans anticipating the film to be a blockbuster. One of the users said, “Awesome look sir. it’s going crazy,” while another said, “Can’t wait to see THIS face-off ???? Ajay vs Riteish.”
Raid, which came out in 2018, starred Ajay Devgn as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, along with Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla. Based on the true story of a 1980s income-tax raid, the film narrated an upright officer and his battle against a strongman in Lucknow. It garnered good reviews and performed well at the box office.
Raid 2 will also feature Vaani Kapoor in a crucial role. Priced initially for release on November 15, 2024, the movie has been rescheduled for May 1, 2025. Viewers are already looking forward to its release, anticipating yet another thrilling movie experience.
