Bomb Threat on IndiGo Flight from Mumbai to Delhi Creates Panic, 200 Passengers Evacuated, Hunt for Caller On

New Delhi: Panic spread on Tuesday after a bomb threat was made against an IndiGo flight. The airline received a threatening call at around 8 AM, claiming that flight number 6E 762, flying from Mumbai to Delhi, was carrying a bomb.

Soon after the call, emergency protocols were activated at the airport. Passengers who were about to board the plane for its next scheduled journey were immediately evacuated, and the aircraft was thoroughly searched. However, no suspicious object was found.

Authorities revealed that the flight had already landed in Delhi shortly before the threatening call was received and was being prepared for its onward journey. Around 200 passengers were on board the aircraft.

IndiGo confirmed that on September 30, a potential security threat was reported regarding flight 6E 762 from Mumbai to Delhi. Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation to trace the caller behind the hoax threat.
