Ghaziabad News: Transformation Planned for 10 Key Intersections Including Siddharth Vihar and Chaudhary Mor, Work to Begin After Monsoon

Ghaziabad: Ten major intersections in the City Assembly area are set to undergo beautification. City MLA Sanjeev Sharma recently held a meeting with the GDA Vice-Chairman to discuss the project. Work is expected to start after the end of the monsoon season.

MLA Sanjeev Sharma stated that in the first phase, beautification will be carried out at ten prominent intersections, including the Siddharth Vihar red-light junction. Thousands of vehicles pass through these locations daily. Roundabouts will be constructed to ensure smoother traffic flow.

Along with Siddharth Vihar, Chaudhary Mor, Kalka Garhi Chowk, and Vijay Nagar police station square will also be beautified in the first phase. The project will be executed with public participation. GDA Vice-Chairman Atul Vats has also launched a competition inviting attractive design ideas and suggestions for the beautification of these intersections. The best proposals will be selected for implementation.

Waterlogging in Prateek Grand City’s Basement After Rain
Heavy rainfall on Saturday morning once again caused waterlogging in the basement of Prateek Grand City Society, located in Siddharth Vihar. Rainwater and sewage accumulated in Basement-2.

Residents faced significant trouble moving their parked vehicles out of the waterlogged area. They reported that this problem occurs every time it rains, and has persisted for the past four monsoon seasons. Despite paying lakhs of rupees for flats and parking spaces, residents continue to struggle for basic amenities. The society’s maintenance team has yet to put a proper drainage system in place.
