Grand Celebration of India’s First National Astrology Mahakumbh Held in Delhi
New Delhi: Astrology is an integral part of India’s ancient cultural heritage and has guided people for thousands of years. However, in today’s modern era, there is a need to move forward by balancing both science and tradition, said Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra. He was addressing the Astro Cultural Festival Conclave आयोजित at the Constitution Club in New Delhi on Saturday.
He emphasized that if ancient knowledge is used for proper guidance and positive thinking, it can be highly beneficial for society. Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta stated that astrology, which reflects the deep connection between human existence and the universe, remains highly relevant even in the 21st century. In today’s fast-paced communication era, platforms that promote traditional knowledge play an important role in maintaining social responsibility and harmony.
Former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey highlighted that astrology is deeply rooted in Indian culture and the Vedas, and has guided human life for centuries. He added that it should be used for promoting positivity and social welfare.
The grand and historic “National Astrology Mahakumbh – Astro Cultural Festival” brought together renowned astrologers from across the country on one platform. On this occasion, Kunal Kumar, founder of Life Designer & Vastu Kendra – Jyotish and Research Center, said that astrology offers a scientific perspective to understand life’s challenges and possibilities, rather than being merely a tool for predicting the future.
Vijay Ram Ratan, Chairman of Ram Ratan Group, also actively participated in the conclave and discussed the importance of astrology in the real estate sector.
Davinder Singh, Director of Gem Lab—an organization that scientifically identifies, tests, and certifies gemstones—was honored at the event. He stated that the primary objective of Gem Lab is to ensure the authenticity and correct valuation of gemstones, protecting buyers from fraud.
Dr. Harshvardhan Agrawal, Founder and Managing Trustee of Help U Educational and Charitable Trust, was also honored. He noted that meaningful progress is possible only through effective policy-making and good governance. Brajesh Maheshwari, Co-founder and Director of ALLEN Career Institute, Kota, was among those honored as well.

Talvinder Singh Lali, Director of DH Discovery Electronics, extended special support to the conclave. In his address, he said that he aims to give a new identity to events connected with Sanatan traditions by amplifying spiritual voices through modern platforms.
Prateek Pandey, CEO of Astro AI, who is using artificial intelligence to spread knowledge of astrology, shared insights into various aspects of the field. Spiritual advisor and creative entrepreneur/strategist Kewal Kapoor was also specially honored at the event.
The festival featured addresses from several prominent astrologers, including Dr. V. Rakhi, G.D. Vashisht, Ajay Bhambi, Vivek Tripathi (popularly known as the “Father of Astrology”), Anil Vats, Dr. Neeti Sharma, Trishala Chaturvedi, Astro Ankit, Acharya Shubesh Sharman, corporate vastu expert Manoj Jain, Ritu Singh, Acharya Vikramaditya, Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Sharma, Dr. Arvind Kumar, Satender Prakash, numerologist Rahi Ramesh Yadav, vastu expert Pawan Bhatia, and astrologer Dr. Shweta Sharma.
Several other distinguished guests were also present, including storyteller Wardha Narayan, numerologist Anurag Puri, Vinay Dhingra (CEO, Riddhi Siddhi Advertising Agency), Sandeep Kumar, Yogesh Sharma (Director, Music Valley), social worker Rashid Ismail, Aashi Jain from Sudhakar Gasoline, Vivek Shukla (Director, Meghdoot Gramodyog Seva Sansthan), and Sanjay Gautam (President, Anubhuti Sanstha).
Senior journalists and media personalities such as Ras Bihari, Ashok Kinkar, Dadhibal Yadav, Rakesh Thapliyal, K.C.
