Noida News: Major Traffic Upgrade – 38 New Traffic Islands and 22 Police Booths to Be Installed Across City

Noida: In a bid to strengthen and streamline traffic management, Noida is set to witness a major infrastructure initiative. A total of 38 new traffic islands will be constructed at busy intersections, along with 22 new traffic police booths across the city. This move aims to enhance traffic flow, reduce accidents, and provide better working conditions for traffic police personnel.
Traffic Police to Get Better Facilities
DCP Traffic Lakhan Singh Yadav shared that the new infrastructure is being developed with a focus on police personnel’s safety and efficiency. Working in harsh weather conditions like heavy rains or scorching sun has always been a challenge. The new traffic islands and booths will significantly improve police performance and help manage traffic more efficiently.
While some traffic islands already existed in Noida, many had deteriorated or were removed over time. Recognizing the growing need, the authorities are now revamping and expanding this infrastructure.
