UPKL Grand Trophy Tour Ahead of Kabaddi Matches, Enthusiasm Seen Among Sports Fans
Noida: Ahead of the start of Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) Season 2, the Grand Trophy Tour began on 11 December 2025 and has been receiving an overwhelming response from sports enthusiasts across the state. During the tour, the UPKL trophy is being taken to the cities that are represented by UPKL teams.
UPKL founder Sambhav Jain said that after completing the tour in Varanasi and Mirzapur, the trophy will reach Prayagraj on Saturday. After that, the trophy will travel to Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Noida, and Ghaziabad. In every city the trophy visits, the local team of that city will also be present. During this time, team players will interact with fans and share their experiences related to UPKL.
Sambhav Jain also informed that all matches of UPKL Season 2 will be played in Noida starting from 24 December. This season will feature a total of 12 teams, including Lucknow Lions, Yamuna Yoddha, Noida Ninja, Gazab Ghaziabad, Kashi Kings, Awadh Ramdoot, Bridge Stars, Sangam Challengers, Ganga Kings (Mirzapur), Aligarh Tigers, Kanpur Warriors, and Purvanchal Panthers.
